bah, I hate everything I write about 2 minutes after I publish it. at least here on this blog I can delete things or make them friends only. it sucks at work after I've done some editorial, like news or reviews or something because once it's published... it's out there. no more changes. and I get INSTANT REMORSE as soon as I see it go up! it makes me not want to write editorial anymore because I get so panicky before uploading it and people get cranky because I take so long... hrm.

hey I'll probably delete this later too! cool.

ok so figured I should update this journal with something that isn't an emo rant. there are good things going on in my life too, true story. I just did my tax and will get back $300, zing. and in more interesting news, I'm totally learning to skateboard. yes, me...on a board...skating. I'm pretty good so far, no tricks but I can go up and down in the alleyway behind my house without falling off. radicool.

also, here are some photos of me almost dressed up as ramona flowers from scott pilgrim. I tried to get a blue wig, but light purple was the best I could do. was still kinda ramona-ish.

it is interesting to note that the only times I ever smile with my mouth open are when I am more than a little intoxicated.

I slept really badly after my freak out and consequently had a loooong, tiring day at work today. But as I was sitting at my desk eating lunch I suddenly got the urge to do something, to get out, get motivated. So when I got home I started week 1 of Spod's Fantasyze regime.

I never, ever exercise. I'm not fit at all and I get asthma when I run. It was so hard but after I was finished I felt a lot better. I think I would like to keep doing it, it'll be good. Maybe it will give me more energy?

Sorry for the emo rant before. I guess everyone gets down every once in a while. I just need to try and be more positive and not let stuff bother me.

ugh, do you ever feel like you want to delete all of your stupid online accounts? facebook, myspace, twitter... sometimes I don't know what I'm doing with myself. this blog included. I have nothing worthwhile to contribute, sometimes I think I am just wasting everyone's time, making them scroll past me or click away from whatever dumb thing I am trying to communicate. especially on twitter.

I wish I still did proper blogs but I don't have the energy anymore. I'm boring.

STOP, BIRTHDAY TIME.

Friday night was our best friend BRENT'S BIRTHDAY! Considering Brent "Party Machine" Griffin has created some of the best parties known to man, we decided to pay him back by throwing an epic SURPRISE!!!1! party in his honour.

We booked a room at the Ryder (the awesome mexican restaurant above the Hopetoun Hotel) and invited all of Brent's superfrenz to party. To make things extra special, it was also decided that The Superfrenz would collaborate on an album for the Spodster. Yeah, WE wrote SPOD an album of party jams. MY HOW THE TABLES HAVE TURNED.

I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this album is. It's just honestly unbelievable. Everyone put in so much effort and so much love, it's kind of really beautiful. It shows how much Brent means to so many people.

Renee, Pat and I made a song called "What She Said (This Song Rules And So Does Brent)" under the moniker, The Creaps. It's kind of embarrassing listening to our song and then listening to everyone elses, considering most of the people on the album are actual musicians (Richard in Your Mind, Talons, Andy Clockwise, Pivot, Seja (Regurgitator) and Sam "the most attractive man in the music industry" Cross. Not to mention the amazing songs created by Spod's band The Orsumators (members of the Tucker B's, RIYM, Palace of Fire/ex-Wolfmother.) I'm still so proud of our song though.

The cd was Myles' idea, and I believe he also put together the cover arts. Take a look! Amazing!

I can't stop listening to this cd. I love Brent. I love being a superfrend.

I made this for the lovely lucy (ultrarabbit ) um, about A MONTH AGO? And I meant to have it posted by her actual birthday. But for some reason I am incapable of getting to a post office, so to show rabbit that I do actually care about her, I'm going to put it up on the internets for easy access.
